Digital Story

November 17, 2011

My story is actually an introduction into a Chemistry I laboratory called “Identifying Metals vs. Nonmetals”.  This Laboratory would be appropriate for grade levels 10-12 and falls about half way through the curriculum.  In this story I display the Frederick County Public School curriculum standards at the start to ensure that it is aligned to county requirements. This story provides the student with general safety procedures for the laboratory while informing them as to what materials are needed to complete the laboratory.  Finally, I attempt to remind students as to what types of properties we are focusing on in order to be accurate in the exercise.
